Project Hawking - Kaipara

Proudly elevated amidst rolling farmland views, this architecturally designed new build was a labour of love from start to finish. Our vision for this open-plan five bedroom, four bathroom home was to create a timeless interior scheme by combining some of the structural components of agrarian buildings with the upscale touches of modern design, creating an innovative mix of both worlds. We aspired to strike a delicate equilibrium between the rustic appeal of the past and the sleek refinement of contemporary design, imparting a sense of timelessness to every space. Embracing the essence of contemporary farmhouse style, we incorporated a rich and earthy colour scheme, a focus on natural materials, timber tones, and vintage accents to evoke a sense of warmth and authenticity. The interplay of textures and layers within the space served to create warmth, depth and character.
